About this property

Welcome to New Hall Farm Caravan and Camping Site, providing tranquil accommodation for the discerning adult visitor. With a 25 pitch site set on a working conservation farm boasting a spacious and well-elevated position, the site boasts panoramic views across open countryside. New Hall Farm is located near the Robin Hood Way and is ideal for walking or cycling. It is close to local attractions such as Southwell Minster and Sherwood Forest Country Park. Overlooking Norwood Park golf course, the site has spectacular views towards Lincoln Cathedral and Belvoir Castle.

New Hall Farm is managed by the Brown family who have been farming in Edingley and Halam for over 200 years. Situated on the New Hall Ridge some 100 metres above sea level, New Hall Farm is on a secluded site amongst mature oak, ash and beech trees. Visitors frequently comment on the spectacular views. Robin Hood Country, Clumber Park, Rufford Abbey & Country Park, Newstead Abbey - Home of Lord Byron, Southwell Workhouse, Southwell Racecourse and Norwood Park 18 hole golf course are all less than 20 miles away. There are also local leisure centres and sports facilities in the area.

More about staying here

Special to this property

Conservation is a high priority at New Hall Farm. Crop rotation not only replaces nutrients back to the soil but also helps wildlife to survive. Grass margins / beetle banks around the wheat fields, together with minimum use of artificial fertilizers and careful set aside management, provide food and cover for the ground nesting birds like the skylark and lapwing.
